DAY 17: From Romans 15

My soul finds rest in You alone; my salvation comes from You. Today and each day, I place my trust in You.

God of hope, fill me with all joy and peace as I continue to trust in You.

Fill me Lord so that I may overflow with hope by the power of Your Holy Spirit.
(Pause)

Today and each day, fill me to overflowing with your Spirit.

You are my source of hope. You are my refuge. I trust in You alone!

Our souls find rest in You alone; our salvation comes from You. Today and each day, we place our trust in You.

DAY 16: From John 14

My soul finds rest in You alone; my salvation comes from You. Today and each day, I place my trust in You.
I will not let my heart be troubled. I will trust in You, my God; Jesus, I trust in You.

Father, you promise that in Your house are many rooms; we trust what You have taught us through your Son, Jesus.

Jesus, I long for the room You have prepared for me. I am astonished that You serve in heaven as you served here on earth. Such a servant-King is worthy of my trust!

I know You are coming back to take me to be with You.

I know that You are the way to the place where I am going.

I will cling to the promise of an eternity with You, and I will not let my heart be troubled.

I will trust in You, my God; Jesus, I trust in You.

Our souls find rest in You alone; our salvation comes from You. Today and each day, we place our trust in You.

DAY 15: From Isaiah 42

My soul finds rest in You alone; my salvation comes from You. Today and each day, I place my trust in You.

I praise You, LORD. You are praised to the ends of the earth, to the depth of the sea, by every creature that is in the sea, to the most remote islands, and by all who live on them. In the desert and in the cities voices raise to praise you.

Today as I say, “I trust you.” I acknowledge that my voice joins the voices of countless people around the world who place their trust in You.

Let our voices honor you and make you smile. You, the LORD, are being proclaimed across the Earth.

LORD, you march out like a mighty man, like a warrior You stir up zeal; with a shout You raise the battle cry and triumph over evil.

I will not keep silent. Even now I cry out for your justice.

Like a blind man trusts a guide, I trust You when You lead me in ways I have not known. Though I walk along unfamiliar paths, I trust You to guide me;
You turn the darkness into light before me and make the rough places smooth. You will not forsake me. You alone are good!

I will not trust in idols – I will not make fleeting things my gods - that would be my shame. I place my trust in You alone!

Our souls find rest in You alone; our salvation comes from You. Today and each day, we place our trust in You.

DAY 14: From Isaiah 25

My soul finds rest in You alone; my salvation comes from You. Today and each day, I place my trust in You.

I trust you. The future rests in your hands. Your outcome is certain. You will reign forever!

You, the LORD Almighty, will prepare a feast of rich food for all peoples, a banquet of aged wine— the best of meats and the finest of wines.

You will destroy the shroud that enfolds all peoples, the sheet that covers all nations; You will swallow up death forever.

Sovereign LORD, You will wipe away the tears from all faces; You will remove the disgrace of your people from all the earth. For you, the LORD, have spoken this promise. And you, the Lord, can be trusted.

On that day we will say, “This is our God; we trusted in him, and he saved us.
This is our LORD, we trusted in him; let us rejoice and be glad in his salvation."

God, I trust You because You will rule forever. Beyond all time and all space, You are!

Our souls find rest in You alone; our salvation comes from You. Today and each day, we place our trust in You.

DAY 13: From Isaiah 25

My soul finds rest in You alone; my salvation comes from You. Today and each day, I place my trust in You.

LORD, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness You have done marvelous things, things planned long ago.

I trust the plans you have for me, even when I don’t understand.

We trust the plans you have for us.

Cities rise and fall at your command. You make heaps of rubble out of fortified towns. Break the strongholds in our city; May they never be rebuilt. You alone hold everything in your hands.

(Pause)

You are a refuge for the poor, a refuge for the needy in distress, a shelter from the storm and a shade from the heat. The trust of the desperate will not be misplaced in your name!

You silence the uproar of my enemies; as heat is reduced by the shadow of a cloud, so the boasting of the ruthless is stilled.

I will trust You forever because You are good!

Our souls find rest in You alone; our salvation comes from You. Today and each day, we place our trust in You.
